This is such an interesting and interactive game. As a sci-fi fan, I love the glitch effects, reminding you this is a live broadcast and I can imagine a future where you can appear in a hologram form inside the exhibition. It makes it all immersive, and even the responses from the VA made it sound natural and like you're having a conversation. It gives life to the text, and I love that.
I also want to applause how down to earth the guide and the MC are when talking about the past. The uncertainty of how you can't be sure if the invention is intended to be used that way. It is like current archaeological findings and theories. It feels so real and if I have to relate it to the real world, if there was ever a case of Earth being in ruins and the human population is spread around to other planets, their reactions are by far the most realistic ones.
Can't wait to see more like this and many more of your works. Keep up the amazing job!
This is so cool! I love how the VA (RitaRemixed) was able to speak in such a methodological and calm way, especially with how she pronounced the words. I dunno, I just love hearing it speak so eloquently to match with the dialogue. I also love the visuals and effects, especially when the MC would "speak", it was really nice. And also the little errors in the simulation was also entertaining but understandable, they're going off of limited knowledge/information and thus can only theorize and observe. I love how through these errors we learn about their time and culture as well, I really love the story of it and tho I'm not as interested in the sci-fi genre, I loved how you were able to weave this story. Amazing job!
Thanks so much for the review and giving it a whirl even though it's not your preferred genre!
This was a fascinating--and strangely meditative--experience. ^_^
The errors in the archaeology feel plausible, and reflect uncertainty in our own understanding of the past (which is indeed yet developing, I believe)--and further, provide a curious window on our own time.
And all this aided by a lovely and appropriately-calming voice-over by the voice-actor.
Very well done, all involved in this! ^_^
Thanks so much for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The plot fascinated me. I like it
This VN is extremely well-written. Highly recommended for any Sci-Fi fan! The prose is reminiscent of the joys of binging on science fiction novels and it made me happy to find such quality in a VN.
The clean futuristic aesthetics and VA greatly enhance the experience. The character sprite is interesting: at some point she has a greenish tint to her skin, and I sincerely questioned if I did not pay attention at the start. Nice way to subtly introduce unsettling elements.
The story has that nice melancholy of looking at our current world as a relic from future's POV. The comedic parts with the misinterpretations made me laugh, and it's beautiful how you manage to capture the entire eery vibe of remembering happy moments of a past you can't go back to.
Thank you so much for your kind words. They mean the world to me.
I'm happy that you enjoyed playing!
Amazing!
This was a fascinating piece! I loved the zooming in on different parts of the background, the slight glitches from the character sprite, and the voice acting was very good! It's an interesting idea to think about how some of the things we have now may have different assumptions of use in the far future.
Thank you so much for playing!
This was so interesting to play! And the voice acting was really on point.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
